Workshop 1: Studium und Berufstätigkeit von Männern in SAGE-Bereichen – Diversität in der Migrationsgesellschaft

Der Fachkräftemangel ist in den sozial-pflegerischen Berufen (SAGE) spürbarer denn je. Gleichzeitig gelingt es noch zu wenig, in diesen Berufen unterrepräsentierte gesellschaftliche Personengruppen zu akquirieren: so wird das Potenzial junger Menschen mit Migrationshintergrund gesellschaftlich noch zu wenig sichtbar bzw. genutzt. Gerade junge migrantische und BIPoC-Männer werden immer noch stereotyp als wenig fürsorglich und patriarchal typisiert, sie werden selten gezielt als Nachwuchs für SAGE-Berufe angesprochen bzw. erreicht.

Prof. Dr. Tunç präsentiert relevante Forschungsergebnisse und diskutiert mit den Teilnehmenden die Frage, wie Fachkräfte im Handlungsfeld der SAGE-Berufe zukünftig mit (jungen) migrantischen und BIPoC-Männern migrationssensibel und rassismuskritisch zusammenarbeiten- bzw. diese für SAGE-Berufe gewinnen können.

Workshop 1: Men studying and working in the fields of social work, health and care, education and training - Diversity in the migration society

The shortage of skilled workers is more noticeable than ever in the social care professions (SAGE). At the same time, there is still too little success in recruiting underrepresented social groups in these professions: the potential of young people with a migration background is still not sufficiently visible or utilized in society. Young migrant and BIPoC men in particular are still stereotyped as less caring and patriarchal, and are rarely targeted or reached as young talent for SAGE professions.

Prof. Dr. Tunç presents relevant research findings and discusses with the participants the question of how professionals in the field of SAGE professions can work with (young) migrant and BIPoC men in a migration-sensitive and racism-critical manner in the future and how they can attract them to SAGE professions.
